Sigarlaki and Limbat

Small note, this is for my English task. :))




In the days of yore in Tondano, there lived a mighty hunter named Sigarlaki. He's famous for his pike ability. None of his target could escaped from his spear.

Sigarlaki had a really faithful servant named Limbat. Alomst every job that are ordered by Sigarlaki are done well by Limbat. But, even though Sigarlaki really a great hunter, one day, he couldn't obtain a single animal. His frustation peaked when Limbat report to him that their meat supplies are gone, look like stolen by someone.

Without a second thought, Sigarlaki directly accuse Limbat for stealing their meat supplies. Of course, Limbat very surprised about it. He never thought his would have the heart to accuse him as a thief.

Then, Sigarlaki asked Limbat to proved that he's not the one who stole the meat supplies. The requirement is, Sigarlaki will plug his spear into a pond, along with it, Limbat sent to dive in. If the spear comes out of the pond first, that means Limbat isn't the thief. But if Limbat is the one who comes out of the pond first, that means he's the thief.

The strange requirements make Limbat very scared. But, no matter what, he really want to prove that he's guileless. Then he dive in, along with Sigarlaki who plug in his spear in to the pond.

But just a few minutes plugging in his spear, suddenly he sees a wild boar drinking near a pond. Quickly, he lifted his spear and aimed for the wild boar. But he missed. Thus, that means Sigarlaki have lost to Limbat. But he requested the evidentiary to be repeated. 

With a heavy heart, Limbat only could agree with his boss. But, once again, just a few minutes after plugging in the spear, Sigarlaki's foot bitten by a large crab. He was screaming in pain and accidentally plugged out the spear. With this, it's settled, Limbat is the one who wins. He could prove that he's not the thief, and Sigarlaki, because recklessly accusing innocent person, get bitten by a large crab.

Moral  of this story: Never recklessly accuse someone with, or without evidence.
